What you need:

  1. Glass bowl
  2. Fall leaves
  3. Mod podge
  4. Plastic wrap
  5. Sponge brushes

First, you have to completely wrap the bowl with plastic wrap. Make sure all parts of the bowl is covered. Push down the plastic wrap to prevent air bubbles or uneven spaces.

Step 1:Completely cover the glass bowl with plastic wrap.

Grab some newspaper and spread in on your table. This is to prevent mod podge sticking on your working surface. Flip the bowl over and start placing the leaves. Apply generous amount of mod podge on the leaves as well as on the bowl. I will remind you need a lot of mod podge for this project.

Step 2:Apply generous amount of mod podge on the leaves and on the bowl.

Continue placing leaves and mod podge over the bowl. Make sure the leaves are overlapping each other to secure them in place. As you place the leaves, make sure to apply more mod podge to secure them on place. If you are done with the first layer of leaves, you can leave it to dry overnight or for the entire day. You can put something heavy, like a book or wood, on the bowl to push down the leaves. Once dry, repeat the steps to make the second layer to create a sturdy bowl.

Step 3:Continue applying mod podge and placing leaves over each other until you entirely cover the bottom of the bowl.

And you are done! A fall leaf bowl to decorate your table.

Step 4:Let it dry overnight or for a day. Repeat the steps to create the second layer.
