Is your home fall-ready? Try this DIY fall wreath project and redecorate your door in minutes. It is also a creative way to celebrate the harvest season. Neighbors will surely get jealous of your wreath and they might ask you how you did it. If you are ready to be creative, then read on for instructions.
What you need:
- Wreath made from twigs
- Felt fabric (2 fall colors)
- Scissors
- Glue gun & glue sticks
- Fake berries
First, we are going to create flowers to be placed on the wreath. To make the flowers, grab the felt fabric and cut it into spiral shape. Make it about 1 inch wide to make medium-sized flowers but if you want smaller flowers, you can narrow it down to half an inch. Leave a circle shape at the end, this will serve as its base.
Then, carefully roll it out creating a flower-like shape. When you reached the end, hot glue the circle on its bottom. Make more flowers using the other color. You may combine the two colors if you like.
Next, we are going to trim off the fake berries using wire cutter. Cut more berries as you can.
Once done, it is time to creatively place them on the wreath. The twig wreath can be created by you (you may need some help bending those twigs) or you can buy an already made twig wreath to save time. Apply hot glue at the bottom of the flowers and place them on the wreath.
If you are happy with the flowers, grab the twigs of berries and apply hot glue on each end and place them in between the branches. Add more berry branches as you like covering the entire wreath.
And you are done! A fascinating fall wreath hanging on your front door.
