How to Buy Discounted Gift Cards
Here's a simple tutorial to introduce you to the world of discounted gift cards! It's an easy way to save money.
- Visit Cardpool.com (just click on the image at the top of this page)
- Click on Buy Gift Cards at the top of the page.
- Stores and restaurants are listed alphabetically along with the discounted amount. For example, Cheesecake Factory, 10% off. You can also search by category (restaurants, theaters, etc.) or search for a specific store.
- Enjoy browsing the bargains, and try stocking up on discounted gift cards for places you normally shop like Target or Home Depot. Think ahead about any gifts you might need to buy, and I'm sure you'll find discounted gift cards perfect for gift giving! If you enjoy eating out, take advantage of discounted gift cards to restaurants!

- P.S. – You will notice some normal gift card amounts like $25, $50 and $100, but you'll also notice some odd amounts like 117.65. The odd amounts generally represent a store credit gift card. For example, you returned an item to Payless, but you didn't have your receipt. Payless would give you store credit in the form of a gift card, and then you might decide to sell that gift card to CardCash.com. All transactions are guaranteed, so you don't have anything to worry about. However, I don't suggest buying a discounted gift card with an odd amount to give as a gift.

Currently I work for one of those major retailers, and the discounted gift cards (especially the ones with odd amounts) are very often for stolen merchandise that gets returned by criminals knowing they will sell the gift cards and that unsuspecting people online provide the money for them! I have a manager who usually voids the gift cards after they leave the store so criminals won’t profit, but people who purchase them often end up losing their money. I know it sounds like a great deal, but it’s better to wait for a sale or a coupon from the retailer than to contribute (albeit indirectly) to shoplifting… The criminals don’t profit from gift cards, the profit is provided by you! Think before you shop!
I know that both Plastic Jungle and ABC Gift Cards guarantees the amounts on all discounted gift card purchases. Before they buy a used gift card, the seller must enter the code, so they can verify it. I’ve been buying discounted gift cards for about 4 years, and I’ve never had a problem or heard of anyone that has.
