Here's an affordable, no-mess Halloween decor idea that's guaranteed to give your house a creepy look. Even a non-artsy person can make this quick and easy bat garland. Hang them up as buntings or use them as an amazing photo backdrop at a party. If your kids can handle scissors, then they can definitely help make this bat garland. You can draw a bat shape pattern yourself or download a free template. Read on for the instructions.
What you need:
- Black poster board (15 cm width)
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Bat pattern
Instructions:
Step 1. Measure the size of the pattern by placing it on one end of the black poster.
Step 2. Fold the paper depending on the length of the pattern. Fold the strips into an accordion shape. Cut the excess paper.
Step 3. Keep the paper folded, and again place the pattern on the paper and draw it.
Step 4. Cut along the drawing.
Step 5. Once done, spread out the folded paper. Hang the bat garland on walls or doors with tape or poster tack.
Maybe I missed it but it would be nice if you gave copy of the template for download.
